I believe that art is for the people. It’s not just about beauty or decoration – art and imagination are what separate us from the lowly beasts and fanatic right-wingers! The purpose of art is to meditate, experience life (materially and spiritually) and so what if it can’t be explained “logically” and its value is intangible. That doesn’t make it any less real – it makes it more valuable and important to our very humanity. Take that Leo Tolstoy.
