About This Series
I am attracted to the contrast of the artificial light and natural light. The iconic value of fast food restaurants to American culture (anti-social, non-nutritive - springing up alongside the automobile and interstate highways) also guide my selection of subjects.

Custom framing available for all paintings. JK Chicago uses salvaged hardwoods from the Chicago area (oak, cherry, walnut - depending on availability) and finished with a low VOC stain.
